“पिकनिक की मजा… की मुल्यांची शिदोरी? Picnic: Fun Trip or Value Trip?”

 



आजकाल बहुतांश शाळा आपली पिकनिक रिसॉर्ट्स, थीम पार्क्स किंवा वॉटर पार्क्समध्ये आयोजित करतात. विद्यार्थी मनसोक्त मजा करतात, थकवा उतरतो, हा भाग निश्चितच चांगला आहे. पण हा प्रवाह जसजसा वाढतो आहे… तसतसे शैक्षणिक पिकनिकचे मूळ तत्त्व मात्र हरवताना दिसते.

पूर्वीच्या काळी शाळा मुलांना संग्रहालये, विज्ञान केंद्रे, मत्स्यालये, किल्ले, ऐतिहासिक आणि धार्मिक स्थळे येथे नेत असत.
त्या प्रवासात विद्यार्थी–शिक्षकांचे नाते दृढ होई, आणि मुलांना भूगोल, इतिहास, विज्ञान प्रत्यक्ष अनुभूतीतून शिकता येत असे.
“Learning by Doing” चा हा सोपा पण प्रभावी मार्ग आजच्या मुलांच्या हातून निसटतो आहे.

Today, most schools plan their picnics at resorts, theme parks, or giant water parks.
Yes, students scream, splash, slide… and teachers secretly pray they don’t slip.
Fun? Absolutely.
Educational? Not really.

Slowly, the real purpose of a school picnic is getting lost in the wave pool.

🌱 शैक्षणिक पिकनिकचे खरे उद्दिष्ट



  • विद्यार्थी परिसर, निसर्ग, किल्ले, घाट, वातावरणाचे विज्ञान प्रत्यक्ष पाहून शिकतात.

  • सर्व स्तरातील मुले एकत्र प्रवास करतात… परिस्थिती, संस्कार व मूल्ये एकमेकांकडून शिकतात.

  • खर्च कमी असल्याने बहुतांश विद्यार्थी सहभागी होऊ शकतात.

मात्र महागड्या रिसॉर्ट्स किंवा वॉटर पार्क्समध्ये पिकनिक गेली की…
शिक्षणापेक्षा भपका, लक्झरी आणि भौतिकवाद मुलांच्या मनात ठसतो.
कित्येक पालकांच्या आर्थिक मर्यादा असतात; तरीही इतर मुलांमुळे, सामाजिक दबावामुळे ते फी भरतात.
जिथे आत्मसन्मानाचे धडे मिळायला हवेत, तिथे अनेक मुलांमध्ये हीनभावना निर्माण होते.


⚠️ मुल्यांच्या विरुद्ध जाणारे अनुभव



वॉटर पार्क किंवा थीम पार्कमध्ये शिक्षक–विद्यार्थी एकत्र पाण्यात खेळताना
अनेकदा सीमेची रेषा पुसट होते.
गुरू–शिष्याचे नाते दोस्तीत बदलले तर शिकवणीचा प्रभाव कमी होतो.

शिक्षणसंस्था हे मनोरंजन केंद्र नसून मुल्यांचे आणि ज्ञानाचे पवित्र स्थळ आहेत.
इथे मुलांना संस्कार मिळायला हवेत—not materialistic attraction.

🛡️ सुरक्षिततेचा मोठा प्रश्न



समुद्रकिनारे, वॉटर पार्क्स किंवा दूरच्या ठिकाणच्या ट्रिप्समध्ये
अपघातांची उदाहरणे आपल्याला अनेकदा पाहायला मिळतात.
इतिहास शिकवणारे किल्ले मात्र सुरक्षित, सशक्त आणि ज्ञानवर्धक असतात.

अशा ठिकाणी मुलांचे

  • शाळा व्यवस्थापनाने शैक्षणिक पिकनिक अनिवार्य करायला हवी.

  • पालकांनी रिसॉर्ट–वॉटर पार्क पिकनिकला विरोध करायला हवा.

  • शैक्षणिक मंडळे आणि शासनानेही स्पष्ट मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वे द्यायला हवीत.

Flashy rides. Costly food. Expensive entry tickets.
And somewhere between the water slides and the DJ music…

If teachers and students are playing together in water,
